Who we are

What we collect
We only collect what we need to get back to you. When you use the enquiry form on this site we collect:
- your name
- your phone number
- your email address, if you choose to give it
- whatever you write in the message box
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site. If you contact us by phone or WhatsApp instead, we hold whatever you tell us in that conversation.
Why we are allowed to hold it
Our lawful basis is legitimate interest: you have asked us about garden work, and we cannot reply without your contact details. If the enquiry becomes a booking, we keep the same details to carry out the work and invoice you.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as is reasonably needed and no longer. If your enquiry does not lead to work, we delete it once we no longer need it to help you. If it becomes a booking, we keep the job and invoice records for as long as tax and insurance rules require.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your details, and we do not share them for marketing. Two services handle your message on the way to us:
- Web3Forms, which receives the enquiry form and forwards it to our inbox.
- WhatsApp, run by Meta, if you choose to send your enquiry that way rather than by form, phone or email.
Both hold your message under their own privacy terms. Using the form or WhatsApp is your choice — the phone number and email address above reach us directly.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Email hello@rogategardening.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113.
